Unequally Interval Data Processing Across Fault Deformation Measurement

چکیده

According to different regions, conditions and requirements, the cross-fault measurement specifications is allowed measure at resurvey periods, resulted in unequal interval observation data. The data a common phenomenon data, difference on both sides of fault observed by geological investigation, historical record, artificial observation, simulated digital sampling, encrypted before after event, change equipment, environment, human factors, etc, obtained. characteristics not only shown time, but also space. usually preprocessed into equal some kind algorithm chosen subsequent complex calculation. In processing measurement, then calculated, which leads series new problems, such as time calculation, synchronization, master-slave relationship, comparability so on. view problems are tried solve matching calculation using conventional methods combined with practical experience, their adaptability various algorithms investigated this paper. These works contribute improvement development survey methods, enhance role earthquake protection disaster reduction.

EFFICIENCY MEASUREMENT OF NDEA WITH INTERVAL DATA

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric technique for evaluation of relative efficiency of decision making units described by multiple inputs and outputs. It is based on solving linear programming problems. Since 1978 when basic DEA model was introduced many its modifications were formulated. Among them are two or multi-stage models with serial or parallel structure often called net...

Paleomagnetic measurement of nonbrittle coseismic deformation across the San Andreas Fault at Pallett Creek

Paleomagnetic data have been obtained to address a problem at the Pallett Creek paleoseismological site: the 9 mm/yr slip rate determined from three-dimensional mapping of late Holocene offsets across discrete faults is only a quarter of the expected value. We suspected that nonbrittle deformation adjacent to the faults might account for the 26 mm/yr discrepancy. In our search for the missing s...

Wavelet Shrinkage for Unequally Spaced Data Wavelet Shrinkage for Unequally Spaced Data

Wavelet shrinkage (WaveShrink) is a relatively new technique for nonparametric function estimation that has been shown to have asymptotic near-optimality properties over a wide class of functions. As originally formulated by Donoho and Johnstone, WaveShrink assumes equally spaced data. Because so many statistical applications (e.g., scatterplot smoothing) naturally involve unequally spaced data...

TESTING FOR AUTOCORRELATION IN UNEQUALLY REPLICATED FUNCTIONAL MEASUREMENT ERROR MODELS

In the ordinary linear models, regressing the residuals against lagged values has been suggested as an approach to test the hypothesis of zero autocorrelation among residuals. In this paper we extend these results to the both equally and unequally replicated functionally measurement error models. We consider the equally and unequally replicated cases separately, because in the first case the re...
